Quality and certification

LABORATORY ACCREDITATION

QCAP laboratory has been awarded the Official International Accreditation Certificate by the Finnish Accreditation Service; FINAS on the basis of ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The lab has got the first accreditation in 1996.

Accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025 standard involves verifying the lab’s competence and ensures its ability to produce nationally and internationally approved results.

Lab accreditation certificate is recognized within the European Union (EU), as well as in other countries associated in the EA (European Co-operation for Accreditation) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation), and International Accreditation Forum Inc. (IAF) and also in countries that signed on the Multilateral Recognition Agreements (MRA) signed by the European and International Organizations with these bodies.

Accreditation scope covers more than 100 of chemical and microbiological test methods in food and environmental samples. Accreditation scope is available at FINAS website

Quality control

 

The lab implements an extensive internal and external quality control programs to ensure results accuracy and precision. The lab participates in proficiency test programs (PTs) as an essential requirement for ISO/IEC 17025 using international PT providers:
